Welcome to Candid Captures' Blog
Last weekend I met this adorable family at one of my favorite locations, Patapsco Valley State Park. Mom wanted some updated family photos for, what I'm going to call, their week of anniversaries! Not only does this week contain their wedding anniversary, but it also contained their son's 1st birthday! We wandered around the park, hitting all the cute nooks the right side has to offer. Their little man, Silas, just started walking so as long as he could move, he was happy!
Sometimes, you're so busy planning your son's birthday party you forget to schedule his birthday photoshoot. Being a photographer and the best friend, I stepped right up. One evening, while mom and dad went out to pick up Zayden's birthday present (a bike, shhhh don't tell him) I tossed some props together, grabbed a batch of balloons, and came over to hang out with our soon to be four year old. Fortunately for us all, they live a short walk to the water and Zayden is pretty cooperative. I am over the moon at how well these turned out. Happy birthday Zayden! "Bam Bam" loves you!
This blog post has been, hands down, the most difficult to draft yet. I simply cannot narrow down my favorites. However, a blog post with 300 pictures would probably be a little overwhelming. Sigh. Last Thursday, on their 8th anniversary, these two cuties said, "I do!" You may remember Nicole and Tony from their ADORABLE maternity shoot last year. It featured their two fur-children and the cutest baby bump you ever saw. I didn't think much could top that level of cuteness and then they asked me to photograph their courthouse wedding day. Just scroll and see!
Last week, I received a message from one of the beautiful chicks I cheered with in high school. Her family is preparing to sell their 1st home, and while moving some things, she realized she never had her wedding dress professionally cleaned. Since it was already in need of a wash, she was interested in having some photos of her daughter taken in the special gown. We met at the horse farm at Andover Park. Meghan loved watching and chatting with the horses then we pulled out mom's wedding gown and the real fun began! Shoots like these are one of the many reasons I love photographing! Reconnecting with old friends AND capturing precious giggles like these. Dream come true!
